| Forever the King of Pop.
On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson, an international icon, passed away. Because of some aspects of his personal life, much of his good deeds were overlooked, such as raising millions of dollars through his Heal the World Foundation, supporting 39 charities, and revolutionizing music videos from a promotional tool into an art form. Michael Jackson was truly important to the world, the industry, and to me and my family. He tore down racial barriers, completely morphed music videos into a type of art form, developed a distinctive sound that is patently his, and paved the way for our music and style today. He is such a legend with his stunning choreography, distinct voice, and holds such a significance in the history of popular culture. He will be remembered forever, not only as a great artist, but simply as a great man. His music will live in my heart and mind -- in our hearts and minds-- and because of that, he will always be alive in spirit. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends, and fans. Rest in Peace. "Music has been my outlet, my gift to all of the lovers in this world. Through it, my music, I know I will live forever." -- Michael Jackson I like this song about Michael Jackson. Well, it's not about him, it's mostly about how hypocritical some people are and how those hypocrites are acting differently now that MJ's gone. (Please be warned: there are f-bombs after nearly every other word. This, I do not like.)

| Reasons for why I went MIAHey guys, If you're still here reading I want to thank you so much. The unfortunate reason of my disappearance is because of my mom's surgery. I've been having to take care of her and of our family restaurant by myself (well with my dad cooking in the back). Anway, she's doing very well.. I have to wash her 2 times a day and give her an enema >_< about once every 2 days. I hope to be back and blogging very soon...but it is a very slow process. I've written half of my entry on paper about the Garnier Anti Puff Eye Roller, but like I said, it's coming a bit slow. I hope you stay with me through all this ^_^ Thank you for still being here!!!! *huggles* ~mich | | |
